Today I visited Dr. Yaker who shared some war stories with me about having a big sister.  He also weighed and measured me, poked and prodded, and decided that I was so perfect that I didn't need to come back until I was a month old.  Take that, big sisters!

Mr. Hospital-ity

I tried to cram as much as I could into my very brief hospital stay.  Somehow I managed to entertain quite a few family members in just 36 short hours.  There were my uncles and aunts:

It was fun to be held by so many people, but now I want to go home.  Ooh, this car seat is cozy.


So now I'm a little boy out in the BIG city...you're just going to leave me here to fend for myself??


Daddy to the rescue!  On the way home he took mommy and me to an outdoor cafe for lunch.  The first of what I think will be many culinary adventures.

Baby, We Are Ultra-Excited to Meet You!

Today we went with mommy to celebrate her birthday with a 36-week ultrasound.  We wanted to get a first-hand (and first foot) glimpse at the baby in her belly.


The picture on the computer screen didn't look much like a baby, but we did notice an ear and a foot that looked like ours do.


Hopefully the baby will pop out of mommy's tummy soon so we can see it for real.  We can hardly wait!

The Fluoride's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades

Holy Molar-y!  I had my first trip to the dentist today.  I've been to like ca-nine appointments already.

Dynamic Doctor Duo

Today we visited Dr. Yaker for our double annual check-ups and found we had grown quite a bit.  I weighed in at 29.5 pounds and 35.5 inches tall.  I was 40 pounds and 42.25 inches tall.  The most fun part was getting to do everything together.  (Except for drawing blood - that was reserved for almost five-year-olds.)  Fortunately we were both very brave and there were no tears, just smiles!!
