Six Ways of Celebrating Oscar

Today Oscar turned six. Here are six different ways we helped him to celebrate:

1. Swinging on the hammock (why wasn't I invited?)


2. Feeding bagels to the swan (you forgot the lox and cream cheese)


3. Hula hooping (wow, you're good at that!)


4. Swimming in the lake (don't you have to wet your tummy for it to be "swimming"?)


5. "Dirt cake" for dessert (let them eat cake, or is it dirt?)


6. Lots and lots and lots of baseball (after all, what better way to celebrate our cousin? Happy Birthday, Oscar!!!)


Today is also "Uncle" Josh's birthday, but we were too lazy to travel to Boston (or to come up with 34 creative ways to celebrate him). But it's not as if he's made the trip to NYC to meet me yet, so maybe next year.
